By setting the example if you are in that childs life… you do it then they will learn… Children are a product of their environment… You set the standards… teacher or parent

Make sure their parents don’t feed them junk… I was never given sweets and soda on a regular basis as a child and now I won’t touch coke and I’d rather eat an apple than Apple Jacks (which taste nasty anyway).
Though that’s not always the answer. I’ve eaten fairly ok all my life and I’m still unhealthily overweight, yet my friend got all the candy she wanted growing up and she’s light as a feather (though maybe that’s because she’s a vegetarian hmmm).
Maybe we can educate children about genes and how they affect Leptin levels…
