Hi, ((Dizz))!
heh! Flattery operated and Patty are my kind of people!
(Also, what did I tell you? I rest my case, boy…)
(Fire is a “discovery” of a natural phenomenon so…)
Probably I’d go with electricity; it made so many other
things possible… but I’m not (quite) that old… so I’m
goin’ with THE PILL.
No question about it.
For me, and sooooo many others! ‘Here’, and thankfully, not ‘here’.heh! };>

Girlfriend, there is no way to pick ONE Single best invention of our time….TOO many life changing ones. But you know what came to mind almost immediately that I don’t think anyone has said…contact lenses. If I didn’t have my contacts I would be blind as a bat. Thank God for the person that invented those!

You asked what is the single most best invention in our life time, so I would have to say the Internet, since electricity is way before our time-but I still think that electricity is the very best invention of all times.

The transistor tube. The American inventor couldn’t get an American company to buy the idea, so he sold the patent to the Japanese, in the 1960’s. Marked the beginning of the end of American industry.

In who’s life time? If you’re 16, that doesn’t give me a whole lot of time.
The Internet was invented in the 1960’s , but I’ll have to go with it anyway. The web is cool, but we couldn’t have it without the Internet.

The camera/video. It’s amazing to capture a picture and video of life and be able to hold it in your hands and see it with your eyes.

The computer and the micro-chip. Without them, you couldn’t have xbox, i-pods, cell phones, etc, and you’d have no way to access the internet.

Hmmmm … I’ll go with …
Chocolate-covered, double-stuff Oreo cookies!
If you have some at your place … I will hop right over! :o)

In our lifetime, I would have to agree with ≤ Flattery Operated ©. I’m a ‘53 model baby boomer and very good reasons for birth control have accidentally spilled onto Yahoo!

Super Nintendo. Without it, Mario wouldn’t be as super, and where would we be without SUUUPER MARIO?!

I think it’s the toilet paper roll that rolls out from the top instead of from the bottom.
