Any Tips For The Best Quality Of Life For My Hermit Crab, Bootstrap Bill? What Heater Should I Get Him?
Uncategorized November 26th, 2009Please give me some pointers on how to make Bootstrap more comfortable. I want him to be the most pampered Hermie EVER! I am also debating whether i should buy him an under tank heater or a “Crab Heater”. I guess the crab heater sticks on to the side of the tank and heats it and gets it humid. Please help me out on that one! Thanks!

Your hermie, Bootstrap Bill, should get the heater that sticks to the side of the tank (hermies LOVE humidity).
More pointers:
-get an extra large tank
-get him a girlfriend (they’re not hermits)
-get a climbing toy
-make parts shady
-give him lettuce/peanut butter to eat
-spray crabiterrium twice a day
-a humidity beach ball
-a humidity pillow
-saltwater pool
-freshwater pool
-feeding dish
-sand (they love to burrow/dig)
-most importantly …love & passion
